What this app does
This tracker helps drivers keep an eye on their on-duty hours against DOT Hours-of-Service limits. You log a Start and End time for each work session, subtract any Break minutes, and the app totals it up for the day and the week.
How to use it
- Tap a day (MondayβSunday) to expand it and enter your session times.
- Add more than one session per day with "+ Add Another Session" if you clocked in/out more than once.
- Enter Break minutes for that session β it's automatically subtracted from your on-duty total.
- Tap "I'm Done for Today" to lock the day and see when you're legally allowed to clock in next.
- Use Export at the bottom to save a CSV, a text report, or share/copy a quick summary.
What the limits mean
- 14 hrs β max on-duty window in a day.
- 11 hrs β max on-duty hours in a day (driving-focused, but this app tracks combined on-duty time since many drivers do both driving and other duties in the same shift).
- 70 hrs β weekly on-duty cap.
- 10 hrs off / 34 hrs reset β minimum rest before you can clock back in.
